Cutout of a drilling template
Sometimes craftsmanship requires a level of precision that cannot be achieved purely by hand. For example, if you want to drill a sieve into a drainage channel and prevent the drill from slipping or dancing back and forth on the surface.
For this purpose, we set the shape of the sieve with millimeter precision using a technical drawing as a vector graphic, determined the drilling points and the outer edges and cut them out of plywood with precision using a laser.
The plywood was then locked in the drainage channel and the hole pattern was transferred using a drill.
Technical parameters for laser cutting of plywood
Material: plywood
Color: light
Performance: 30%
Speed: 100%
khz: 25kHz
Passes: 3
Focus shift: 0
Air cooling: 0
Mode: Crop
Laser: CO2

Duration: 212 seconds
Notes:
When cutting out plywood, the energy must not be too high, otherwise it will start to burn. Too much resin also sticks together the exhaust air filters.
