126 (Willi) beer glasses engraved with logo and consecutive number
That was quite an interesting order.
126 0.4-liter Willi mugs for an anniversary fair.
The special thing about it was that each glass received a consecutive number: 001/125 - 125/125. As an added bonus, we also engraved one glass with the number 000/125. This way, not only can every guest remember their glass, but they can also identify themselves with their unique number. We're curious to see which agent gets the 007. ;-)
With an engraving time of approximately 7 minutes per glass and all the preparatory work, it's quite a job. The work stretched over several days.
For orders like this, we also measure the material separately. Every bit of optimization in engraving density, energy intensity, and speed improves the results. An hour of test engraving beforehand is worthwhile.
