Plastic - Engraving in 17 languages

The original reason for setting up a laser engraving production cell was the idea of internationalizing the left-handed shop's range.

The production of left-handed mugs with a touch surface requires a minimum lot size of 300 pieces per color and motif. With 17 languages in 4 colors, the left-handed shop would have had to have 20,400 cups made. In order not to have to keep this huge amount in stock, the motif was ordered without inscription. By means of laser engraving, the inscription can be applied in an infinite number of languages as required.

Hints:
Depending on the color, you have to vary the power and the number of passes. The brighter, the less power. The thicker the touch surface, the more passes.

Engraving with 3 passes takes 6-7 minutes per cup depending on the area.
